A CONVERSATION WITH ALFREDO CRAMEROTTI

While PROJECT Gx2 was immersed in contemporary art at EXPO CHICAGO, George and Guy-Vincent had the opportunity to have an in-depth conversation with ALFREDO CRAMEROTTI, curator of EXPOVIDEO, “futuro anteriore”.

Alfredo is not only a nice guy; he has rich insight into the creative process, and can articulate his ideas and perception clearly in an accessible manner. This is always a challenge for curators, a balancing act: To present organizational cultural concepts in a way that is decipherable to a general public while at the same time conveying enough intellectual/creative curatorial gravitas for peer respect.

Alfredo juggles it beautifully.

This video was filmed with an I-phone at Expo Chicago, and edited collaboratively (George Kozmon and Guy-Vincent, pulling some late nights at Kozmon’s studio), and includes footage from many of the videos at the fair. Guy-Vincent composed the soundtrack. Beer was provided by Great Lakes Brewing Company.

We thank Tony Karman and the Expo Chicago team, and of course, Alfredo Cramerotti!
